I just had my A4 completely freezing up during play. The pattern page light stopped blinking, but the pattern just kept on repeating. No reaction to transport or any of the buttons anymore. I had to turn off and back on. This scares me a bit because I need to use the A4 on stage. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
Ok, so I guess this is just a totally singular event that never ever happened to anyone else ever before. I really hope so.
I only had this problem when changing program settings while playing
i can’t remember doing anything at all when it happened except for sending PC messages to the A4 for the pattern to change. What do you mean by changing “program settings”? It would be cool to find a way to reproduce this to make the A4 more reliable.
I’ve had this issue 3 or 4 times in maybe a year and i see no structure in this( unytil now ). I 've also asked myself what to do in life-setups. I guess oner needs
allways a 2’nd or even 3th solution for life-music. ( even if it’s only wav’s or CD’s )

Very annoying : I lost the feeling of a rock-stable instrument.
