Friends,
Need some help. I have an external keyboard hooked up to my A4 and I am able to play notes perfectly. I’m able live record into the sequencer. However, I cannot p-lock notes from the external keyboard. I could’ve sworn in the past I was able to hold down a trig and hit a key on my external keyboard and have it register the p-lock. But that is not the case with this new controller. Please help?

possibly only working when you set your external controller to the Auto Channel - that’s where i’d look first - see MIDI Channel settings
Direct Channel mapping may be playing the engine whereas Auto Channel mapping is supplementing the normal mini keys in function in this regard
