hi guys, maybe its a noob question but I need to ask it. I’m about to finish my set up and I need to understand 1 thing - what a difference in sound when I’m using overbridge and usb or when I’m using the analog outputs. I wrote to Elektron support and they told me that there is no difference. but in this way I need to understand why😳
I thought about it and it can be possible if Elektron got AD/DA converters , but still I’m not sure if different ways of sending signal to the DAW can have the same result.
Please help me to understand the process

yes, elektron boxes (the overbridge enabled ones) do have ad/da converters… so if you record the analog stereo master out of such a box, it will sound the same as if you would record the stereo master via overbridge… (albeit ad converter nuances)

also keep in mind, that overbridge (2) is still in beta…
yes I hear the difference. sound cloud not shown me seconds but its switching on 10 or 11 second . but idk where is OB and where is analog. last part more powerful and maybe brighter. but again maybe it was different levels
