Hey!
Now that the A4 outputs midi I had this idea of using it as a sequencer for a few synths in one area of my studio using just hardware. The idea is:
- Prophet 08 as the controller sending notes to the A4 on channel 9
- A4 sequencing itself but also sending midi to a rack mount synth and also back to the prophet
I know you can do this by juggling the midi send channel and other settings but I’d prefer it to be a “static” setup eg selecting a different sequencer track on the A4 sends notes to a different channel and synth. Getting midi notes back to the prophet doesn’t work well.
Any suggestions on how to get this workflow going?
