I’m still new to the A4 sequencer and have been trying to figure out how the accent works. According to the manual, it is supposed to add “accentuation” to notes through volume and filter envelope. However, when I add an accent to a note, even with the accent turned up to 127, I don’t hear an increase in either volume or filter envelope. If anything, the note seems quieter and more dull.
I tried playing with the Velocity Mod, but it still doesn’t seem to help. I applied mod to the filter envelope, resonance and to the frequency.
I know it’s not meant to be a 303 clone, but I would like to program 303 style accents. Has anyone got any particular settings that would help? Are there any tutorials on the accent that would help?
