A question for Roland boutique owners

Have you ever used the USB audio out on your Roland boutique? If so, is it possible to monitor that audio signal through your DAW/audio software using the boutique’s headphone out without also hearing the same audio coming from the boutique?

For example, if you route the USB audio through a reverb effect in your DAW (Reaper, Ableton, Logic, Amazing DAW-less DAW for DAWH8rz, etc.) and listen through the boutique’s headphones, do you hear the effected signal AND the signal from the boutique, or just the effected signal?

Thank you for humoring my crazy. :ghost:

Neither.
Through a Boutique headphone out you would only ever hear the dry sound of the Boutique.
There is no way the DAW would be sending audio back to the Boutique.

Thank you very very much.:pray::pray:

You can send audio to the boutiques and have it come out of the headphone out (at least I can on the TB03), but I don’t think there’s any way to mute the internal audio in the headphone out so it can be put through effects in a DAW and then sent out again. You’ll always get the dry signal.
