Here’s a collection of 20 custom wavetables I made for the DTII. I fell in love with using the machine as a wavetable synth with the stock WT oscillators so I had to make my own. Took a bit of work to get them to play nice with the 64 slices available in grid mode, but the end result i am quite happy with.
There is a blend of classic styles like analog waves and PWM, waves from sampled instruments, and hand drawn waveforms. Tuned to C for ease of use. They morph with minimal artifacts, although the Digitakt does not interpolate between slices this is exactly the same way old school WT synths behaved
Also includes 256 frame copies of each wavetable for use in any other WT synth. I’ve also been told they work well on the OT. Let me know what you think and happy creating
That improvised demo sounds good!!! Just wondering - what makes those Digitakt 2 specific? The OG Digitakt also slices samples in 64, so can they be used be with the older model too?
Thanks, unfortunately the zero-crossing detection on DT1’s slice mode moves each slice position by a very small amount. not enough to hear usually but enough that it will throw an oscillator out of tune.
