A good Mixer for my Elektron gears

Hi there, I’ve got an Analog Four, Machinedrum, Prophet 08 and a minitaur. I am looking to get a mixer instead to plug everything to my soundcard(Motu mk3). It will be for electronic music mainly (Techno, house, soundscape…) to play in my studio and hopefully live soon. I generally like to record everything stereo even my drums i don’t know if it’s a bad thing? So i am looking for a mixer that have a few stereo channels so i don’t have to up 2 faders at the same time. A friend requested me the Yamaha MG16XU Mixer but i’ve heard that the allen & heath are better. I’ve got a budget of no more than £400 (550 euro).

Any suggestions?

I recently got a Mackie ProFX 8. So far so good. I like that I can use it as an interface and a mixer. So far have a turntable, A4, Rytm, minitaur, and werkstatt running through with room for a mic and guitar. Easy to quickly record anything in stereo to DAW. The ProFX usb series goes from 8 to 22 channels and very affordable.

Are there any companies just making straight 8-channel mixers with 8 actual discrete channels? I’m currently using a really old Boss BX-800 only because it has eight mono inputs, which I prefer to the current trend of pairing stereo inputs to a single knob/fader and still calling it two channels. Sure, it’s nice to have a single stereo channel where knob movements apply to both sides, but sometimes I just want to mix a whole bunch of mono sources…

I just got a second hand allen hearth ZED14. Its perfect.

I really like it. It feels very professional. I also have a small mackie VLZ4 which is good but having faders is a plus and gives more feeling.

I am quite impressed by the quality of A&H.

Also owned a Yamaha mixer, but it feels less. Although the newer lines do look good.
