A few questions about pattern management

hi all!

I made my first live with digitakt (mainly) yesterday and everything was fine, but today I have some questions!

(essentially, I think it’s overbridge related, but I can’t find infos on these…)

does overbridge will allow to get rid of a certain sample, put a sample which was on track 4 on track 6, all these kind of things…? I know all this stuff can be done on digitakt itself, just asking if it’s going to be in overbridge to speed up workflow on a big screen…

for now, I made one project for one concert, every bank contains one song. I found a bit annoying/ disturbing/ not efficient - in live situation - to go from bank c > bank a > bank f … can I move easily all these banks to make a different setlist? (and do bank a > bank b > bank c…) to make it easier on live? does overbridge will allow this kind of pattern / bank moving? maybe there’s a clever way to produce music or songs, but for now, I’m here!

thanks for your answers!

I’m not really sure anyone can answer that with authority other than someone officially representing Elektron - and I doubt specific capabilities will be explained until closer to release.

Although I’m open to being wrong about this, perhaps a betatester can chime in

Yep ! That’s what I hope ! If it’s not going to happen, I have to change my workflow now as i’m beginning working with digitakt and not getting too messy…

So far there’s no access to patterns or banks through the (beta) OB plugin. Hopefully its added by final release, would make arranging songs much much easier.

I saw that, for octatrack I think, it could be a blessing for digitakt too!
