Trig conditions?
Looks like he’s got one trig at the start of the pattern, with one immediately after it for the second chord, but with negative micro-timing to pull it back to where the first trig usually is… and then trig conditions on each so that they alternate every repetition of the 64 steps?
Yeah that makes sense. Was thinking of the trig condition but forgot about the negative micro timing.
Will try it out
I was looking for a way to do this as well on a jam I was working on.
Here’s what I figured out:
The sample could be 8 bars long. Set a trig condition for 1:2.
My 8 bar sample kept replaying after 4 bars. Once I set this condition, it now plays once every other time through 4 bars, for the entire 8 bars of the sample length.
I know this is an old thread but maybe someone will find this info useful in the future. Cheers!
Couldn’t find any vids on this exact topic so I made a quick 2min tutorial on this if anyone needs a visual: https://youtu.be/jBdsm1xQAPc
Hope it’s helpful!
