I recently recorded a two part session only using FM sounds from Chipsynth MD, an emulation of the OPN2/3 chip used in various Sega devices. I thought the process and sound was unique (for better or worse) and maybe worth sharing.
All of the audio samples are FM samples I made on the OPN3 emulation. The DT midi channels are controlling multiple instances of the OPN3 emu. My Model D is doubling a kind of HH or arpeggio part just to make things more interesting.
If you want advice or opinions on controlling virtual devices while running overbridge, I would love to share my experience. This was a great workout, hope someone appreciates the cheeky visuals as well.
