check their homepage … I purchased a few years ago… was a good deal imho… i am not affiliated with ableton
Only $129 upgrade price for me (from Live 8 Suite to Live 9 Suite).
Just pulled the trigger on it.
congrats … tbh, i think the ableton guys really deserve the buck for their product …
A push would be only 420$ for me…
GAS!!!
this happened to me… ordered a PUSH.
Does anyone know if Push can be used as a MIDI controller, eg for entering notes on Elektrons? Or is it purely and only for Ableton Live?
You would have to use a laptop.
Ok, that’s what I thought - I meant of course without going through Ableton or a laptop…just straight up MIDI.
Just a heads up, I have a very sneaking suspicion they are clearing out stock for PUSH 2 or Mini Push, or some kind of new hardware. This is purely uninformed speculation, but just thought I’d mention it.
-Edit- also i understand this deal is un-passupable for people living in some countries due to pricing. I hear gear prices are crazy in Japan.
The new Novation Launchpad Pro can be used stand alone!
It has a midi out, and doesn’t require a laptop. Really interested in the potential of using one with my hardware.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at the Novation - I was really hoping for a double-duty controller for both Ableton Live and standalone hardware, and I like the Push features in general.
I am tempted to get another Push, having sold the last one to fund Elektron gear.
I am hopeful that this http://www.bome.com/products/bomebox might help Push work without a computer.
Nice find I nearly missed. Just ordered Push and version 9 upgrade.
finally done it - Suite and Push… let’s see what madness with the Analog Four ensues
I have an original iConnectMidi; I wonder if that would do the trick? Hmmmmm! It works with my OP-1 controlling Elektrons. The only problem I see is if Note mode on Push requires Live to function properly.
Argh, just after I picked up Suite at full price!

An iconnectmidi won’t work. Push won’t work unless it’s doing its secret handshake with live.

Which is probably not public info (hence secret)…arggghhh…too bad! Thanks vf for chiming in!

Found this! Not so secret apparently…this could work!
Thanks for the tip! Cycling 74 has a similar deal on Max, which is more my kind of thing than Live.
