3-part crossfader with original sound in center

Guys, can u shade some light into this matter?
Lets say I assign the crossfader scene A to some effect parameter and scene B to some other effect or so, the middle position of the crossfader keeps the original playing (neutral) or it plays either scene A or B (no neutral)?
Thanks a lot!!

The crossfader interpolates between the A setting and the B setting of each parameter. If in scene B the effect parameter “X” is equal to what it is in scene A, it will not be changed by the crossfader. If not equal, it’ll take the value in between. So in your case, the middle postion will not affect the scene A setting of parameter “X”.

So there is no neutral, either scene A or B?

What do you mean by “neutral”?

Like when it s in the middle to not be affected by neither scene A or B

No, it’ll be in the middle of morphing between the 2

If you want the ‘original’ sound of your Part, you can mute one or both scenes, or load an empty scene to one of the scene slots.

Sorry for the stupid question, but how do u mute both scenes!

To mute the scene on slot A, press [FUNC] + [SCENE A].

To mute the scene on slot B, press [FUNC] + [SCENE B].

See “SCENE MUTE” in the manual for full details.

Thanks a lot :))

if you have one scene assigned to pitch -12, and another scene assigned to +12 , leaving the crossfader in the middle will be 0, so in many cases, yes.
