$200 price drop on Digitone Keys

Not sure when this happened or if it’s been mentioned already but I see that Sweetwater has the DK for $1099 until the end of March… maybe other places too?

It’s been going like this for a while from a few retailers. Hell of a deal! The standard Digitone is also on sale for $649.

Great deal!!!

It’s also down to 999€ at thomann germany.

Still way to expensive when compared with the desktop version or something like the argon 8

If it wasn’t so huuuuge I’d totally buy it

@Monobear nah… totally reasonable. It’s a nice synth!

Yeah for 799€ :wink: 600 for a digitone and 200 for a midi keyboard. Why add 200 to this? For what?

Maybe look at the specs. 4 additional stereo outputs for each track. Dedicated controls for filtercutoff etc. pp.

Everything that @PekeDorty listed + the additional encoders are always in sync (work “jump-free”).

Due to the lack of a parameter value request via MIDI you cannot sync external controls to the active values after a pattern change on the Digitone.

People keep using the argument of expense or value of the digitone keys versus basic DT + midi keyboard, what you fail to understand is that value is entirely subjective.
What you value in cost versus features and build quality and utility in no way makes your opinion correct to any other person.
In other words, all hamburgers are not equal. Some are .99$ from a drive through, others are $30 made with higher quality ingredients by skilled chefs. One tastes average the other delicious. If price is the only factor, buy 30 drive through hamburgers and stop telling others they are wrong or stupid because they work harder, earn more money, and enjoy something finer.
