There was another thread about using OB and transfer with more than one of the same kind of elektron device and I think that the only issue was that they don’t appear as unique devices. So, I think it won’t say A4(1) and A4(2), therefore you need to find a way to name them as an audio device from within your computer. I seem to remember with Mac there was a way to do it but I don’t know, it was a while ago. If nobody else comes with the information I’ll try and dig up the post.
As far as I know there is no physical limitation on doing it though, 2 x a4mk2 would work as long as your computer had the correct specs and you had overbridge running.

Works fine! The only limitation i’ve run into is when having more than 5/6 OB devices in total. But I’ve had 2 x Digitones + 2 A4MK2’s with no issues
