I performed live last night in a small setting, using Digitakt only I’m surprised it worked so well. Little tricky with transitions. Need to practice way more.
Some drones had trig condition “1st”. I wonder about this rule. Will the condition be true while the track is muted? It seem to be working at pattern level rather than track level. I see the point in this behaviour, but then I think there should be another trig condition like the one-shot on OT.
When the track is muted, the “1st” conditioned trigger does not fire. Also when later unmuting the track, the trig will not fire. So muted tracks don’t fire trigs. Having a long or looped sound on a muted track with a “1st” condition does not start the sound, so if you later unmute the track, no sound is heard.
Yes exactly. It seems the 1st condition only is true the first time the pattern plays, which means muted tracks will not be able to play later, when unmuted.
If I remember correctly OT one-shots are not fired when track is muted. I would like to have this condition on the DT as well.
