How do make all four bars go in 12/16? (triplets)

I tried the other night but with no success. I got around it by doing 48/48 (3/2x), in advance mode.
But I would like it to change start on the first trig in each bar like in 16/16 or 64/64.

That won’t get you 12 steps per page.

It would be great to be able to setup the amount of steps per page as would be more logical if the n/n ratio actually meant musical scales like 12/16, 7/8, 12/4 etc… in addition to actually setting the track scale/tempo division that way, you’d need a variable to tell it how many bars/pages (1-4).

The hard thing about this is, with the 16 step matrix it would be a bit costly to calculate all possible settings and with measures above 16 eg. 18/16 etc… so when you’d exceed one page’s limit off 16 steps you’d loose bars. As well as with shorter measures like e.g. 3/16 you’d loose potential steps, as the maximum of 4 bars would result in only 12 steps total for that track allowing for less variation than we have now.

So I doubt this feature will ever see the light of the day. For now one has to do a bit of step counting to find the down beats in longer odd measures. It’s a bit tedious but not impossible.

Anyway I’d really appreciate it if at least individual track-scales/tempo divisions would be on the horizon.

It’s a real bummer only the OT offers this right now, as it would be so natural to have this on the A4!
