1/4 TRS to dual 1/8 in OS 1.12 video

sweet, cv control.

having a little trouble locating this cable in the video. lots of 1/8 to dual 1/4, but no 1/4 to dual 1/8. are these going to have to be custom built? has anyone found them online?

cheers

Yeah, 1/4" TRS to dual 1/8" TS jack cables don’t really exist. Elektron really should start offering those as an accessory in their store.

You have the following options:

[ol]
[li]Solder your own. The easiest way to do this is to buy long 1/8" TS to 1/8" TS patch cables [1], cut these in half, and then solder those to a 1/4" TRS plug. That’s what I did.[/li]
[li]There’s a rather expensive “boutique”-priced DIY cable you can order someplace online. Google for it. It’s expensive.[/li]
[li]Buy a 1/4" TRS to dual 1/4" TS female adapter cable [2], and combine that with a pair of nice 1/4" to 1/8" cables such as the ones Doepfer offers [3].[/li]

thanks, will look into it.

Buy a “channel insert cable” 1/4 trs to 2 x 1/4 ts. Cut the ts plugs off, solder on 1/8 ts.
Bingo.

Someone posted this for those not into soldering. From there just get 1/4in to 1/8in cables.

I got mine from Amazon.
