So many pictures of elaborate setups with huge amounts of pricey gear. I’d love this Topic if as well as posting pics, everyone posted their best track made in that space, with that equipment…!
There’s another entire category for exactly that! And it’s great.
It’s me on picture
taken by my son kek
Nope it’s only gearporn here
Yep!
I think somebody’s looking for this other thread.
@esq it’s pretty easy to hear whos who and make a match
Beautiful. I had the white marrguar a little while back and it’s been my favorite guitar ever. Sold it becuase…you know gas. I have a strat i love but is not worth what i could get from the jag so off it went. Had not seen it in blue though. Very very nice. Careful, the finish flakes easily.
i had hope that the 4-track would win as the only piece of all analog kit in my studio but the Monologue has dug its claws in and it’s so cheap that i’m not mad at it hanging around in my current setup. borrowed a friends MS-20 Mini to try out but my attention span is way too short to use it anywhere near its potential. i’m back in love with the Digitakt and using it in dual roles firstly as a strict drum machine and then later as the end of the funnel for whatever loops end up in ableton from all this junk. i’m hoping to let this set up sit for a good while
Hey there - great setup!
Mine is quite similar and I’m looking at swapping my mixwizard for the QuPac or Qu16.
How do you have the Analog Heat setup? I was going to use it between the Rytm and the QuPac.
Thanks in advance.
Cable management? Nah… just make sure there’s an abundance of colors, shades, textures and materials in the direct surroundings and cover everything with a children’s mattresscover when playtime is over.
ah, this is oh so familiar.
my last studio space was in the kids’ play room.
How’s that Boss mini rack delay? I’ve been tempted to grab the whole collection on eBay.
Wow! But how have you tamed the grabbies?
That is inspiring for the future! (2.5 and 6 week old creatures here).
It’s got a great 12 bit sound, triggering it from the md so can “play” the samples chromatically. Would love to try the pitch shifter too but this is the only one I’ve tried.
RSD 10 has been in my set up for the past 15 years. Secret weapon…
Pitch shifter is fun. The chorus is beautiful. Compressor /limiter is good on drums or percs. The reverb is very 80s…
The blofeld is a separate ‘setup’ and is on the second midi out of the studiologic keybed, as doet of a fancy digital piano. that is being played throughout the day and available for the whole family on request, a single/mono speaker of an old stereo-set makes it sufficiently audible. As for the rest, I play mostly in the evenings and always using headphones. I’ve let them fool around with all of it, but must of the knobs/encoders didn’t do anything of interest for them (all blank or basic patterns/project to be safe). They like the colors of the deluge and sequencer buttons and Octatrack slider, but it doesn’t let them hear their favorite tunes. They just don’t know what ‘it’ does, so they lost interest i guess. Of course i’ll stimulate them … in a few years time…
