Whats size thread nut is needed for mounting Elektrons in a case?

You need M3 size but be careful for the length!
You have the PCB card behind
I use only screws with 4 mm inside the gear
I have stand for Elektron with the good screws and the good length if you want

same here. I created my rack yesterday. I went back to the store to ask about the thread, they told me every M3 is the same. They also said, just like what I found on the forum) that the Rytm was pained after the holes for the screws were made. That’s why they felt a little difficult to get the screw in.
4 mm into the machine is enough. be sure you don’t use longer screws

BEWARE: screwing into ear-rack holes

I have broken both of my monomachines today. Beware screwing into your monomachine (or probably any other elektron unit). If the screws are too long, they may hit the PCB board and cause extreme damage to the unit. I can attach a photo so you can see what little damage can go a long way. The screws came with some ear-racks that I bought from someone. I assumed the screws would not cause any damage because... why would a PCB board be in the way of the ear rack holes? Well, my assumption was…

i would go crazy if this happens to me.
