Using AR as drum machine and soundcard at the same time

Hi all

Here’s what I want to do:

  1. play back AR pattern, controlled by Ableton Live, use Overbridge based automation.
  2. route AR sound to DAW and add DAW FX
  3. use AR as sound card

At the same time I want A4 sound to route to Ableton and back out through AR.

While I am able to play back any sound in the DAW and hear it through AR, I can’t seem to get AR to route its drum sounds to DAW.

Does anyone have an idea? Thanks!

Have you checked:

  • AR: is in Overbridge Mode and playing sounds
  • Overbridge: the dedicated “Input from Analog Rytm” channels are activated
  • Ableton: input channels from AR are created, activated, and routed to master
