It’s important to the topic though as these units seem ideal on paper as a one stop solution for IPad audio/midi, and by getting the details out those of us who haven’t actually used one are more informed as to if it’s a device we could use or recommend…

@Open_Mike I actually just got caught up and all of you have been super helpful.
I am writing out my little portable setup and will let you know what happens. While sitting around last night I connected the iPad to the digitakt with an iconnectivity lightening to midi and just had the iPad to the input on the digitakt. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and fun i had. The only issue is the lack of physical knobs but some apps I could midi map and some I could not. So thank you once again you have all been a huge help
