Saving Kits

HI All,
I’m a bit confused on how the Rytm Saves Kits.

I had created a Kit for a track I was working on but never actually explicitly Saved the Kit via the menu system under KITS. It seemed like the kit was saved as I was able to turn the unit off and back on and all the same sounds in the kit remained.
Last night I changed to a different bank/pattern that had the Kit in question assigned to it. While in the new pattern, I switched toa different kit to assign it to that pattern.

When I went back to other pattern with the Original Kit, The sounds associated with that kit were all gone.

Is this expected behavior. This completely does not make sense to me.

Hey, I don’t personally have a RYTM but have been looking into getting one, and this is expected behavior. This thread has a great, in depth video on saving kits/projects from Cuckoohttps://www.elektronauts.com/t/analog-rytm-kit-pattern-save-project-memory-mega-tutorial/30844?u=fifac

There are many many threads and discussions on this, please try a search for such questions. The buffer for temporary ‘working’ kits is limited, so save a copy if you like a version
