Rom Sample Start time - Static Lfo Trick

Changing the Start time of, say for example, a bassdrum sample on a Rom machine on the Machinedrum will sometimes introduce a digital click sound.

To gain a finer placement of the Start time, using the Static Lfo trick (as used for fine Pitch adjustment), will help to possibly find a Start place in the sample that does not click (essentially this means the Start time is being located at a place where the waveform amplitude is at zero).

Doesn’t always work and is not necessarily going to be the perfect placement of the Start time, but the usefulness of this technique is being able to play back a transient or the mid section of a sample, without the digital click sound happening.
