Midi track for second lfo?

Anyone had any success using a miditrack lfo on an audio track using a midi out/in loop?, I was hoping to modulate an allready modulated track but couldnt get anywhere when going through the options, is there a trick to setting it up?, or am I misunderstanding how it works.

I tried this, which should work with LFOs too, but it crashes my unit everytime

I had some issue when I tried midi loopback on my MDUW, Are you turning off send/receive midi clock(and start/stop just for troubleshooting purposes)
