Digitone tradmark was registered Nov 2017 or Nov 2016 ?

If the second case then it was probably just a registered trademark for a device that ended up with different name - Digitakt.

at leat that would be a really super cool move from Elektron … much cooler then all that “oh look, new synth by xyz is leaked” or “oh sorry it was just on our website but it shouln´t be open to the public” …

The hype machine is already running without Elektron vaguely hinting at anything or fake leaks - which I like. They repeatedly emphasized there’s a lot more to come and I expect part of that to be announced on the first day of NAMM with actual availability some time towards Q3.
