Elektron at NAMM 2018

Which mackie do you have? I’m scouting out a 1202VLZ4 myself

Edit: What i would really love is something like the 1202 with a multimode filter on the master, or on each channel, and as I’m writing this i see the price-tag increasing on my dream

In the new form factor.
If they do that, it’ll fk me all up.
I’d certainly have to get a grey trinity.

Like it has been said previously, a working Overbridge 2.0 is more than enough for me! BUT if dreaming away, I agree, an Elektron made specialised granular poly would be aaaaaawesome. There are of course way to do it already, but hey, it would be the cat’s pajamas.

I also think another effect box would be awesome. A creamy analog chorus/flanger/phaser something-something like the Warped Vinyl or anything Chase Bliss really. Or a completely digital reverb/delay (I don’t need it personally, but Elektron’s verb/delays sound reallly good).

Anyway, whatever it is, keep it up Elektron!

Waldorf has done that granular poly…4000€ starting price this end month release. Very impressive machine!

Wow, yes That’s impressive indeed. I wonder how the resonator works! That would also be a cool box. Like Ableton’s resonator, but in an Elektron Box. Also awesome?

But if you take away the keys, that HUGE screen and couple of other bells and whistles, maybe the price would be reachable for more people, I don’t know

I’m coming from a 802VLZ3 which has a nice routing trick with the mute button. It routes that channel to the alt-outputs which gives some flexibility. But I needed more and got the 1642VLZ4 with its 4 mono busses / 2 stereo busses and more auxes.

would this new Monomachine mk3 be analog? the former were digital boxes yeah?

Id like to see a digitakt mk2 with at least a second set of assignable outputs…id like time stretching and slicing…if thats even possible. Main thing is better connection options. More memory.

Id like elektron to bare in mind some of us spend alongtime saving for their gear and put alot of faith in them to produce the max for our hard earned wages. Id love a OT and RYTM but am excited to get my digi…it will be my setups heart so i want it fully loaded and complete as it will be alongtime before im able to get another of their box’s

A digital synth in the DT form factor would make the most sense IMO.

However, I will settle for overbridge 2.0 with sample backups/transfers from the rytm and full support for programming the sequencer from the DAW. And that new synth machine for the 1-4 voiceslots of rytm pls.

Very digital. If it’s a new Monomachine it would be digital again. There already is an analog version: the A4.

I LOL’d at that.

I want them to rename Analog Rytm to Ahhhnalogu Rrreeeeeeeeeeyahtummm so that it confuses the video guys who over exaggerate the pronunciation

That’s certainly going to be difficult to put on a sticker

True, but think of the fun that could be had trying to out-pronouce eachother, it could get competitive, maybe even made into a Science Lab :joy:
