If this kind of broken release non-strategy is a result of them having more projects on the boil due to success, I’d recommend they slow down. I definitely won’t be early adopting now even if OT2 arrives 
Just wait until something works before release, or warn buyers of issues. Seems the obvious/honest route…
That’s cool you’re happy with it but for anyone buying it for live use or needing OB for separate tracks I’d guess it’s a different story…
Ironing out bugs/missing features being added later after release is fine/a given with new hardware. But DT seems to take it to a new level so far…

Not trying to argue or generate negativity. Just feels like Elektron have been pretty lame/dishonest on this one and taken people’s trust/respect for granted for their own benefit. I’m not a fan of being misled/manipulated and it just makes me very cynical about getting excited about anything they put out in future until long after release…

I’m a bit surprised that something like smooth midi sync wasn’t super easy for Elektron to get right from the outset. I’ve never had any sort of sync issue on the MD, AR or OT. It’s a strange thing (among other bugs) to get wrong. (I should add, however, that due to all the reports I haven’t actually used midi sync yet, but have used midi notes in and out, and have not had one crash in 10+ hours of use … touch wood).
In any event, I am already very happy with the DT. I bought it primarily as a supercharged microgranny, and in that respect it’s great already. It will be truly great once the sequencing / midi is fixed.

i vaguely recall Cenk saying something about his FUNC button being replaced during SB17 maybe yours is a remembrance of those FUNKY buttons…?

Exactly. They can (and hopefully will) fix the machines, but a period of poor communication cannot be undone.
I don’t think it’s too late to regain trust / interest, but yeah some openness please

The one thing I’d like to say is that there was some type of pace at which Elektron would leak tidbits of information before the release of the manual, and it was all on that one thread in this forum. I thought the expectation for people to find out important details about the DT’s functionality by doing searches of Elektron employee’s responses on that thread was not ideal.

I cancelled my preorder few days ago and was just notified that it was shipped haha.
System messed up.
Oh well, I guess I have no choice but to at least give it a shot at this point.

Anyone else having heavy ghosting in their display? DT was fine initially, however after an hour or so of use (new out of the box) ghosting very apparent… A bit disappointing.
I’m just sampling and making beats on my Digitakt and did not encounter problems yet. And not saying there isn’t a problem, I just have not encountered them. This box is a real treat, makes me feel like the 5th member of Pink Floyd.

Just had to cancel my pre-order, they left me no choice. I ordered in March and was told week 20, 21 then 23 and now they posponed it to a whopping week 36!! that’s September!!
Where can i order a Digitakt and not have to wait another 3 months??
