Digitakt miss first midi note on first step --> Solved

Hi

My Digitakt sometimes miss the first midi note on first step/trig ?!
After one pattern loop it is ok, like there is a 2:1. But there is not.

If i put the note on the second step, everything is ok.

Do you have this issue ?

Thanks

Is it midi slaved to something?

It’s a known bug, some people experience it more than others, I don’t know why. Place the trig as usual but bump it forward a tiny bit with microtiming, you won’t be able to hear a difference. Should hopefully be fixed in an update.

did you live record that trig in?

If so, check the microtiming to make sure that first trig doesn’t have a negative value

use the microtiming…and work great…or put the step manual…and move the length and aftertouch…

Thank you very much. I modify the microtiming, put it again on grid and now everything works fine.

This should do it with the new OS (1.21) :

Bug fixes

The first trig in the pattern was sometimes not triggered when controlling the Elektron device with an external MIDI clock, and MIDI transport was started.
