Digitakt as a 4 track stereo loop mangler

The fact that the Digitakt only handles files in mono can actually be a very cool thing because it can push creativity in different directions. F.ex splitting stereo loops (the same tempo naturally  ) into two (left and right) mono files in a audio editor (would be awesome to have this as an option in the transfer utility during sample transfer). Then load let’s say “loop1-Left” to track 1 and “loop1-Right” to track 2 (very important to PAN track 1 hard left and track 2 hard right for the stereo effect). Repeat the same for tracks 3 to 8 with other loops. Imagine what happens when P-locking the sample start (a workaround for slicing explained in another thread) on all 8 tracks simultaneously. Or just mix together couple of stereo loops. The possibilities are endless.
