I have it like this. Imagine you put the OT where the TB-3 is. That would stack them and also have a pleasent cording situation. I would imagine that the top unit would benefit from being slightly tilted up for reachability.
These shelves also slide in after use so minimal space is required when inactive. Also, the standard dust cover fits on the units.

It is already built, kind of. Its a combination of a 4U desktop rack and added rack mounted trays. I got everything from Thomann. It’s kind of pricey but very robust.

This is the screw-less design I came up with but never realized as I use the same-ish cheeks as depicted only with screws. It was less parts = less cutting. Laser cut would be the best approach for this but I didn’t find the time and energy to contact some local workshop company.
Btw, one Elektron box fits below nicely even with the lid.

Nice, i don’t like so much the curvy shapes, but if you have laser cnc i can imagine that you can do them at any shape without so much effort.
Actually i did a double-device side panels in wood, bought panels in one of these big hardware stores and then cut as needed (got measures in another thread) myself with vertical saw.
Actually they’re under wood painting, as soon as ready, and combined with my elektron boxes, i’ll post some pictures.
so far haven’t seen anything that’s jumping out at me as most solutions look like they’re fixed setups and require disassembly to remove a unit…why doesn’t someone make one that has shelves or brackets that they sit on instead?

I can vouch for the Rain stand because I’ve used with laptops before. it’s very sturdy and looks great, but is quite expensive for what it is
