CV trigger Korg MS-20

Does anyone have experience triggering a MS-20 from Analog Keys?

I set Pitch Hz/V om the Keys, make a small pattern, let it run, patch to VCO 1&2 in on the MS-20, and nothing happens. Couldn’t find anything about the setup anywhere, I’m sure it’s just a small thing I’m missing. Anyone to my rescue?

if you patch there you need to open the vca and you won’t get envelopes - it’s also not hz/v there (on the left) - it is on the right inputs but cuts the keys off

you ideally need to patch in far right on the bay in both pitch in & gate in using two cv channels of your four available

edit - it’s labelled Freq where i thought you plugged in - so you’re in correct input, you just need a gate (or open the vca, lots of ways, but EG2rev>initialGain is an easy one if you have some sustain, or just patch in the wheel)

Ah thanks. Yes, it works, at least the gate. Actually, only the gate, but I guess I can go from there!

have you got splitter cables to separate CV A & B
if not, use CVA and CVC and disable B&D

Yes, for lack of split cables I used CVA and C, thank you! Making progress :slight_smile:
