Hello! Bought an A4 off ebay and it didn’t start properly. Now I only get the glowing screen and no menu. I tried holding the function key and this didn’t work. It’s like the OS has been wiped… any way to load the OS or any advice on how to start this? I requested to return it… something rattling inside anyway. Although it’s beat up, I’d still prefer to fix it. Thank you in advance for your advice!

I think it’s best to just return it. There are quite a few A4 mk 1’s for sale at really great prices (and some mk2’s too); it’s just not worth the hassle.
I feel for you. I have been scammed on ebay few times myself… Hope it works out for you.
Dont open the instrument. Just return it and ask for full refund.
